Practical AI help for your business

An hour to look at your business, find useful opportunities and work out where AI is better left out.

Start with the work, not the software

A one-hour AI business review of enquiries, bookings, quotes, paperwork and marketing. Practical advice, starting with the tools you already use.

Colin Dixon uses AI across his own businesses. He brings that hands-on approach to a review of yours, without promising that every job needs AI. Based in Mallacoota, he helps small businesses in Eden, the Sapphire Coast and elsewhere in Australia.

Tell us about one task you would like to make easier. No customer records or confidential files needed to start.

Where it might help

These are possible uses to explore, not customer results or promises of savings.

Enquiries and bookings

Draft replies to common questions and prepare booking follow-ups. A person checks availability and approves anything sent to a customer.

Quotes and paperwork

Turn notes into draft quotes, checklists or summaries. You confirm prices, details and commitments before using them.

Marketing and website content

Plan useful posts, draft product descriptions and keep frequently asked questions clear. Check every claim and keep your own voice.

A review first. Your choice what happens next.

  1. Look at the work. Talk through the jobs that take your time, the tools you already pay for and where things get held up. Start with a description or a made-up example, not customer records.
  2. Get a practical plan. Receive a short written review: what could help, what to leave alone, suggested tools, likely running costs, data risks and where a person must check the work. Doing nothing is a valid recommendation.
  3. Choose a small next step. If you want help, agree a separate setup quote. Try one task with sample data, check the result together and decide whether to keep it. Ongoing help is optional and agreed separately.

Useful tools, sensible boundaries

  • Use the least data needed. Do not email passwords, customer lists, health information or other sensitive records for an initial enquiry.
  • Before any live data is used, agree what can be shared, who can access it, where it is processed and retained, and whether the tool can use it for training. Some tools process data outside Australia.
  • Keep people in charge. AI can make mistakes, so check facts, prices and customer-facing work. No automatic sending, bookings or other commitments unless you have specifically agreed the process and controls.
  • Compare what you already have before adding anything. You approve tools, subscriptions and access; accounts stay in your name. You do not have to buy setup or ongoing support.

A one-hour review, with a clear fee guarantee

Allow one hour for your AI business review. The review is quoted before work starts. We agree the scope and how forecast savings will be worked out. No new subscription is required just to have a review.

Our fee for your AI business review will be less than half the forecast savings, or you pay nothing for the review.

Additional recommended services, including setup, staff guidance and ongoing help, are not included in this guarantee and are quoted separately.

We set out the forecast period, assumptions and any recommended running costs in writing. Forecast savings are estimates, not a promise of a particular result.

Looking at the wider picture too? We can also review your regular costs or check your website. They are separate services, and you choose what you need.

Questions

Do I need another AI subscription?

Not necessarily. We start with the tools you already use and check whether their existing features are enough. If another tool is worth considering, the review explains why and what it costs before you decide.

How long is the AI business review and what does it cost?

Allow one hour for your AI business review. The review is quoted before work starts. We agree the scope and how forecast savings will be worked out. No new subscription is required just to have a review. Our fee for your AI business review will be less than half the forecast savings, or you pay nothing for the review. Additional recommended services, including setup, staff guidance and ongoing help, are not included in this guarantee and are quoted separately.

Will AI replace my staff or run the business for me?

The starting point is helping people with specific tasks, not replacing their judgement. We agree what needs human review and test a small task before considering wider use. There is no promise of a particular saving or result.

What should I send to get started?

Just describe your business, one repetitive task and the tools you use. Please leave out customer details and confidential files. We can agree a suitable way to handle any information needed later.

What keeps landing back on your desk?

Describe one repetitive task and the tools you already use. Colin will discuss a one-hour review and agree the scope and fee before work starts.
